The Arcadia fan was inspired by early 20th Century designs of Dick Van Erp. The design stays true to the West coast Arts & Crafts movement by incorporating hammered metal, exposed rivet assembly, and a warm mica diffuser. Although authentic in design and appearance, these fans offer modern motor design, electronic controls, and a lifetime motor warranty. It features a rubbed bronze finish motor and maple finish blades. The amber mica shade light kit is fashioned from the naturally occurring mica mineral. Slight variations due to the natural tone and pattern of the mineral make each piece unique. From the Period Arts Fan Company. Includes 3-speed wall control and hand-held remote system.
The Period Arts Fan Company was founded to create authentic ceiling fans inspired by early twentieth-century design. From Arts & Crafts to Bauhaus and Futurism, these designs reflect the retro modern styling of some of the most influential design schools of the last hundred years. Merging today's technology with the look of recent past, each period fan is built to last.
For safety reasons, fan blades must be a minimum of 7' above the floor. Hang the fan blades 8' or 9' above the floor for the most efficient air flow. All Casa Optima ceiling fans come with a standard pole for use with 8-foot ceilings.
