This stylish, energy-efficient flushmount fixture features a custom-made giclee style shade with a pattern printed on high-quality canvas. An acrylic diffuser at the bottom prevents glare from the two included CFL bulbs. The canopy and accents are in a bronze finish. The giclee shade is made to order. U.S. Patent # 7,347,593.

Looks nice when off, not special when on. To my surprise, the shade is completely opaque, so no light is thrown onto the ceiling when on!!! Seems ridiculous because this would be a MUCH nicer fixture if the shade were translucent. Since light only comes through the diffuser on the bottom, the fixture actually doesn't provide as much illumination as you might expect from its two 100W equivalent compact fluorescents, and the ceiling remains dark- not what I wanted. I'm considering returning it, despite the hassle. Otherwise the fixture is OK, quality seems reasonable, but its overpriced in my opinion. Important lesson: Be sure to call with questions before ordering lighting fixtures online!
