I used this fan to replace a larger, old-fashioned unit in my toddler's bedroom which is fairly small. This is much more streamlined and creates less visual clutter. I like that the blades are shorter too. The installation instructions were pretty straightforward. No real problems getting it up. It looks fantastic. I particularly like it for a child's room because the shape and proportion of the blades brings to mind a child' pinwheel. This model also had more lighting wattage than other huggers I looked at. Overall, I'm very pleased with the fan and would recommend it for a child's room.
