The fixture is very nice looking, but I'm quite disappointed in the light it gives off. I had called customer service prior to ordering, and the operator told me it would be over the equivalent to 300 regular watts. No light comes out of the top or sides of the fixture, it only shines down. It is nice lighting just for the table, but it has made the rest of my dining area in my kitchen very dark.
