Plants Will Help Your Design Grow

Plants add so much personality to any home design.

Welcome to March! While many of you are still digging your way out of snow, the rest of us are here to tell you that it will be over soon. Just hold on.

One way to get your home prepared for sunnier days is by adding some indoor plants. Greenery is always the best home accessory, no matter your home design style. Not sure where to put plants or how to style them...? Try something like this living room above, get some fun pots and place them all on a cool white coffee table under some natural light. Try using a white one so it doesn't dominate the space, but really any table will do.

    Diversify Plants Throughout The House

Make sure to spread out your plants and share in all rooms.

You don't have to cluster your plants for impact, you can also just try using a few and placing them in different spots around the same room, like this pretty dining room above.

The industrial pendant light and plants up high not only look pretty, but help use vertical space.

You could even dress up an entire wall with plants.

Another really great way to both use vertical space and create space for plants is with shelving. Or, you can take it one step further and create a living wall indoors, like the studio space above.

Good luck with adding greenery to your home.... We promise it will help your design style grow.

Concept designs for the new River Thames pedestrian bridge in London.

There's currently an awesome design competition going on in London. There have been 74 design proposals for the new pedestrian and cycle bridge. And they're all amazing. So happy I don't have anything to do with selecting a winner, which will be announced in July...

...Let alone constructing any one of these complicated designs which will span the River Thames between Nine Elms and Pimlico.

Naturally, our favorites, here at Euro Style Lighting, are those that seem to feature LED lighting. We couldn't think of a better use for LED tape lights and LED path lights.

    Bridge And Waterfall Concept

The purpose of this competition, besides being exposed to cool design, is "to identify the best team capable of designing and delivering a unique landmark."

Best of luck to all the amazing designers who have submitted their ideas...

Crystal chandeliers stand out in neutral spaces.

You don't have to include pink, or any color, to achieve a romantic environment. Take a look at this space above, it's neutral and totally feminine.

The crystal chandelier makes a big impact, but so do other details, like the ornate mirror and console.
